Southern Long-nosed Bats

At Home, SE Arizona

During the fall after the rains, our hummingbird feeders would be empty in the morning. One night while sitting in the spa outside under the moonlit sky, we found out why! The Southern or Lesser Long-nosed Bats were having a feast. So, with my old Nikon E5700 and my husband holding a flashlight, this is what we got.

WOW! This is amazing. You sent me googling the long nosed bat and found they also like fruit. Might want to try putting some fruit out and see what kind of results you can get (and be sure to be ready with your camera!)
