Western Diamondback Rattlesnake

At Home, SE Arizona

These last three shots were taken after I went out the front door and walked a large, careful circle to the back. I gave him a very respectful distance and he never got agressive, so although somewhat nervous I was thrilled to have this opportunity! That blue cooler in the back is 3' long.
