A wonderful capture of this extended family. They have a sweet tooth as well, Carol. Very timely..

I have had a flurry of bee activity at my house too. I think we should expect some cold weather coming shortly.

everyone likes your home brew Carol... :-))

Wow! I get wasps and ants competing with my hummers in summer...

All the honey bees here are gone, supposedly dead. I have not seen one in years. Maybe, they just moved down there.V

This is why I had to give up the hummingbird feeders! Sometimes they've even monopolized the seed feeder!

It is wonderful to see all these honey bees. They must have a hive somewhere, either a beehive or a natural one? V

Great image of all these late bees. v

It's a great capture, although not sure I'd be happy about seeing bees in droves! V.

A mass migration from the cold weather up north..
Nice capture, Carol...

Please don't listen to Jim and keep the feeder up. They need all the sweet to get over the Winter. Great clarity and details in your image! V

Oh my, and they have found something that they like.

Uh wow - this is quite a busy scene here, well done Carol!

Yikes!! Time to take down the feeder! :))

Wow! Getting that last bit before winter! V
Buba Jafarli05-Nov-2013 12:29
A lovely scene! V.
The bees probably had plenty of nectar to eat in summer, but in late autumn they appear to be hungry and thirsty.

Very nice!
Neal Nye05-Nov-2013 12:05
What a crowd! They seem to be in short supply in other parts of the country.

A very nice shot! V
