This one was in a very difficult-to-photograph location between an outdoor trashcan and the porch,
and beneath a spider web! I was determined though because I have never seen a yellow grasshopper like this.
I looked it up at Bugguide.net and concluded that this is the yellow nymph of a Bird Grasshopper
in the genus Schistocerca.
