Sonoran Whipsnake

At Home, Texas Canyon, Dragoon, AZ

Four Images.

This one was right across our "driveway" heading for our front yard when I drove up.
I got out of the car to get better shots. He did not like me there. Eventually he
turned around and went back into the desert. Wow, what an awesome experience this was!

Such a curious little face he has. It's amazing you could get such good shots of him. If it had been me, he'd have been over in the weeds before I could even get out of the car. But you can charm 'em!!!!

Desert snake encounter well documented here. I like the top image with up-close view of the head and eye punctuated by a graceful "S" curve. V
