I was searching for insects and such in the Desert Broom that grows wild down in our front yard,
when I came across this beautiful Orbweaver.
She is a very large Orbweaver, her body is easily 1 inch in length...and those legs - wow.
I submitted her to www.bugguide.net in the Garden Orbweaver species and they identified her further,
saying that in the more arid climates the Banded species tends to be very pale, referring to the lack of pattern on her back.
