And very white
I love the sound of silence

The light of spring
Takes a leap of faith
Leisurely emerging
From a slow chill

Far away
The birds are thinking
Of the colours
That come to light

In my country
That we call
Snow

A fleeting moment
A wink in time
Reminds me that summer
Feels like a smile

In my mind
Spring is always there
Even if fall
Is my favourite season
Including winter.
