Live and let live: What part of this FANATICS don't get?

Links: http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2010/August/Islamization-of-Paris-a-Warning-to-the-West
Ultimately...a show of "power" in Paris.
Cars coming from all over the place to SHOW what they CAN and WILL do
now that the doors are open to build mosques anywhere they want, it is not enough.
It will never be enough... What will be next?
That is the question a simple citizen in Paris wanted to share with
the rest of the world because NO AUTHORITY is saying a word on this...
Watch the video, it is self explanatory.
*
SORRY...LONG ARTICLE
IF YOU CARE TO READ...THIS IS IMPORTANT
and send to everyone you know who cares...
*
I do not want to promote violence,
au contraire...
I truly APPRECIATE AND LOVE "multi-culturalism"
this is enriching our experience of life through mixing, discovering,
appreciating different cultures and traditions
AS LONG as they WELCOME also our way of living and RESPECT it
in OUR corner of the universe!
*
We just need to wake-up and stand for, in our countries,
what we believe in and let them know, before they move in,
about what OUR beliefs and customs are so they can ADAPT
and NOT IMPOSE their way of doing things...
Their "public" practices are not welcome on our territories
and are not going to be accepted or tolerated IF they are
IMPOSED to the ones who don't share those practices or views.
What is happening in Paris is disgusting and a total lack
of respect!
They DEMAND respect for their religion BUT
at the same time THEY spit on OUR way of living life
in OUR lands... Why come here in the first place
if not to "take over"???
They are already TAKING OVER Paris, Amsterdam, Culemborg
Who will be next? Places are already taken over but just
not publicised. If not this "ordinary citizen" in Paris,
who would have alerted the rest of the world?
Not the "spine less" governmentS...

This text i got in an email
is by far
the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read.
His references to past history are accurate and clear.
Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read.
The author of this is said to be a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist.
*
To read with an OPEN mind
if you have that intellectual capacity
and think...
- - - - - - -
Here:
Wisdom of an old man.
A clever view on Islam…
- - - - - - -

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II
owned a number of large industries and estates.
When asked how many German people were true Nazis,
the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.
'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed
the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care.
I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools.
So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen.
Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control,
and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything.
I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads'
that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims
just want to live in peace.
Although this unqualified assertion may be true,
it is entirely irrelevant.
It is meaningless fluff,
meant to make us feel better,
and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics
rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.
It is the fanatics who march.
It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.
It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian
or tribal groups throughout Africa
and are gradually taking over the entire continent
in an Islamic wave.
It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill.
It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.
It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning
and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals.
It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill
and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority,
the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace,
yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people.
The peaceful majority were irrelevant.
China ’s huge population was peaceful as well,
but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II
was not a warmongering sadist.
Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia
in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians;
most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda?
Which collapsed into butchery.
Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt,
yet for all our powers of reason,
we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up,
because like my friend from Germany ,
they will awaken one day
and find that the fanatics own them,
and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians,
Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis,
Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died
because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.
As for us who watch it all unfold,
we must pay attention
to the only group that counts
--the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly,
anyone who doubts that the issue is serious
and just ignore this text without sending it on,
is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand.
So, extend yourself a bit
and send this on and on and on!
Let us hope that thousands, world-wide,
read this and think about it,
and send it on - before it's too late.

* * *

I think we have to stop being stupid...and stand up for our own values
and our own freedom...BEFORE it is WAYYYY too late!
It is late already but perhaps...not TOO late (sigh).

We value LIFE and we RESPECT LIFE.
Nobody is perfect but, we are not FANATICS and generally speaking
we have moral values that ultimately "preserve" life...
I agree, there is still A LOT of room for improvement but...still.

It is the "fanatics" and "extremists" that are dangerous
and that are destroying the possibilities of harmony in the world.

I have no problem with "beliefs" people might have.
Practice your religion/beliefs/traditions "in your own home"
and DO NOT IMPOSE "your" views, whatever they are to others
who don't share your own views...

Let the others "LIVE" according to their OWN values.
With the peace and freedom we were all born with...and that we ALL deserve.
Even if, i have to admit, even in our society, it is somewhat of an illusion.
But there is definitely a higher respect for life HERE and NOW.

Who are they to "IMPOSE" anything OUTSIDE of their own countries?
If they "choose" to live in OTHER countries, they have to
RESPECT the way of living of the first habitants of those
countries and be THANKFUL they were allowed to come and live there...
Those countries opened their doors to them, they should be thankful.
They were "let in" to SHARE life the way it is being lived since centuries.
SHARING EVERYDAY life with respect is the LEAST they can do!
Not IMPOSE their way of doing.

Anyway, Who is god?
What is his internet address?
How do they get replies from God?
And how can they be SURE of what "he" says or would say
if he was....a person...to begin with...?
Ehm???

There is a lot of GOOD in the religious "writings"

Religious texts, also known as scripture,
are the texts and mythologies which various religious traditions
consider to be sacred,
or of central importance to their religious tradition.
Many religions and spiritual movements
believe that their sacred texts are divinely
or supernaturally inspired.

Those "translations" of texts too often receive official blessing.
They are "translations", i.e. perceptions, room for too much interpretation...
Too often those "translated texts" have de facto,
absolute or exclusive paramountcy,
which i find...very debatable.

The narrow minds of "followers" do not debate,
they just...accept the "interpretations"
of some manipulative HUMANS devoid of humanity
with no question asked.

They accept the views of the ones who "translate"
with HATE
an ultimate message of love...

Why can't they just see this?
I know...ignorance again.
Fools never know they are fools...

IF there was "A" god, he would not lower himself to the rank of animals...
We have to ELEVATE ourselves, not continue to ramp like those extremist
who live in hate 24/7...

I DO NOT accept to be RULED
by those beliefs coming from a bunch of primitive uneducated people
who's ignorance is going to increase chaos in the world.

I wish they could also wake up and CHOOSE to be part of the SOLUTION
instead of CONTRIBUTING to the problems!!!

WAKE UP, EAT, MEDITATE, LOVE.

Love is a WAY of living.
Those fanatics have not even a clue of what LOVE is.
And are hoping for "paradise" when they blow themselves up
killing others.
While, ignoring the fact that some of their own "dictators"
don't even believe in this themselves...
*
Life as we know it is HERE and NOW.
Life before we can't remember,
Life after...nobody has a clue.
So, LIVE the here and now and stop
making plans for what you don't even know in the "after"!
*
Fanatics are too dense to grab that concept.
Fanatics are just screwing all up for themselves and others around them.
*
Wasting precious time not enjoying the privilege they got
to experience being a human
and what it is
to "LIVE" LIFE...

Their stupid blind missions are just a waste of precious time and energy.
Unfortunately, they do not have the ability to think
farther than the tip of their own nose.

What was before us and what will be after is just...different.
WE are life, WE are the world, WE are "part" of this universe
and that is just that. Why can't we just...LIVE and LET live...

Seek for what is good and spread LOVE
Expand your mind in LOVE not hatred.
Stop cultivating the "narrowness" and ignorance of the minds:

(Ignorant minds = The tunnel vision of the poors and uneducated)

Namaste...

p.s. Have you ever seen ONE of the videos about a young girl
being "stoned to death" for a crime of "honour"?
Have you ever stopped and think about that barbaric mentality?
Stoned to death, IN PUBLIC and nothing is done
against such atrocious crimes...
NOW THEY DON'T EVEN BOTHER DOING THIS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS!
WHAT WAS HIDDEN BEFORE IS NOW PUBLIC.
AND IT WILL CONTINUE...
BUT AT LEAST NOT IN THE CIVILIZED COUNTRIES...IF OUR GOVERNMENTS
STAND UP AND PUT ON THEIR PANTS SOME LIVES WILL BE SAVED...
*
This is way past "religious beliefs", this is cruelty beyond imagination.
Something is totally wrong here...if we do nothing to STOP this from
"invading" our a bit more decent...world.
*
In Canada, in Ontario, in July 2009, "four" women were killed
because of "honour". Three sisters and a care giver got killed
and dumped into a car in a river because ONE daughter dared to
say or do something the stupid ignorant macho father did not approve of...
So, the son, the father and the mother murdered those women...
That was done IN CANADA! And not even two years ago!!!
*
The judge found that this particular father
believed violence is a wholly justified response
to female "disobedience"...

FANATICS possess a seriously dangerous belief system...and
if we do not IMPOSE RESPECT "here", they will TAKE OVER and
once it is too late...it is too late.
*
“Attitudes such as these are quite prevalent in certain segments of the Muslim community,
”says Farzana Hassan, former president of the Muslim Canadian Congress, a reformist group.
She says the influence of Wahhabism – a highly intolerant form of Islam that uses religion to justify the subjugation of women – has been growing in Canada.
“They are not a fringe group any more.”

Many groups – not just Muslim ones –
refuse to admit the existence of honour crimes in Canada.
After all, they point out, domestic violence is universal.
(wow....nice mentality!!!)
As Mr. Al Mezel's lawyer argued (he is another idiot) at his sentencing hearing,
“What you have is a loving and caring father who thought
his daughter was on the wrong path.”

The judge didn't buy it.
She found that this particular father believed
that violence is a wholly justified response
to female disobedience.
Mr. Al Mezel, she said,
“deliberately and repeatedly invok[ed] the concept
of violence against her in the name of honour.”

Eman Al Mezel wasn't wrong to fear for her life.
Victims of honour crimes are typically young,
attractive, Westernized and, in the eyes of their families,
immodestly dressed. Two years ago, a Mississauga teenager
was strangled after she began to rebel;
her father and brother have been charged with her murder.
In Kingston, three family members have been charged with murder
after three teenaged sisters were found dead in a car in the Rideau Canal.
This month, a 20-year-old Iraqi woman in Phoenix
died of her injuries after she was allegedly run over
by her father
because she had become too Westernized.

The Canadian Government is revising its citizenship guide for new Canadians.
Unlike the current one, it will be more assertive about its history
and its values. It will explain the canadian military history, and who Wayne Gretzky is.
*
I don't know whether it has a chapter on the rights of daughters
to dress and marry as they please.
If not, maybe it should.
Far too many women in Canada can't take these things for granted...

Need I say more?

(Two books that do bring food for thoughts:
A NEW EARTH / Eckhart Tolle
THE GRAND DESIGN / Stephen Hawking & Leonard Mlodinow

Another video that speaks volume, again, i am non-religious
and still, this does worry me. That is just the tip of the iceberg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuoY2_TEgQE&feature=player_embedded

Note: Muslims are proposing a 13-story $100,000,000.00 Million Dollar Mosque
in the most prominent spot in America - the heart of downtown New York
City next to the World Trade Center site.
Would this Mosque be an example of America 's 'tolerance',
or a Tribute to a great Muslim Conquest?

Again, need i say more?
Who will stand up and say, enough...is enough.
That is what they are trying to do in France,
look at what recently happened.
Bomb threats and the killing of a humanitarian of 78 years old...

That is the ONLY WAY they (the fanatics)
know how to deal
with anything that "ruffles" their feathers...

We get the same crap in England....however now there are signs of an awakening.
Ray :)02-Oct-2010 01:47
I'm sorry Claudia, I meant to make this comment on your other entry here. I typed it on the wrong page.
Yes, I do care about people not having the freedom to choose their faith with their appropriate place of worship.

I'm sorry to say that those with the strongest views often have too much influence, and this is not something that is restricted to Islam or in fact religious group. That is why politicians in our countries are usually out of step with the ordinary people. I live in a town that has the oldest mosque in northern Europe and therefore has always had a significant Muslim population, and must add that we don't have any special local difficulties.

I certainly think it is worth exploring why these fanatics adopt this position. Unfortunately, people's principles often get in the way which restricts dialogue. Too many governments prefer the bullet and this drives factions to be even more extreme.

I would rather hope that the proposed NYC mosque would be seen as the USA's tolerance, as after all, would not most of its followers be citizens of that country that are also of the law-abiding silent majority? However, such a decision is not down to me, rather the city's residents.

Dear Ray, with a comment like this one (yours), it is obvious you did not read at all what is written here... Your comment has nothing to do at all with the content on this page. I suggest, with all due respect, that you read "all" and "carefully" and then, if you want to comment, you are more than welcome...
You completely missed the point and such a superficial comment goes well with the general attitude i was TRYING to "change" here...
People don't care "enough" and it is not when it is too late it is time to say, we should have done something... Read carefully what is written here, i can only hope your mind is open enough to truly understand the essence of what is being said here...
Respectfully,
Only Me.
Ray :)01-Oct-2010 18:34
Why should we be so fearful of people because they practice another religion?
I actually had a vision recently, that one large religious building should be constructed with each quarter of it being used by a different faith. It would give the message that we can live in harmony despite differing beliefs.
As for me, I don't go for any of it - I don't pray or anything.
François Hamon08-Sep-2010 20:41
We all know Religion wars. BUT Atheism wars have never existed !!!!!!!

Time to choose !
BleuEvanescence08-Sep-2010 17:23
Thank You David.
I am in tune with what you said and by "taking action" at no time am i
even hinting to "violent" action. I just want for people to say NO to
being taken over, be aware and lucid.
And i find, by welcoming and opening our corner of
the world to others, welcoming their cultural traditions and beliefs
is all good and necessary even for a richer diversified society.
AS LONG AS IT IS NOT IMPOSED
and DOES NOT JUSTIFY "ANY" VIOLENCE AT ALL
and also RESPECTS the different way of living
of the people who welcomed them...
*
ADAPTATION has to work...both ways and we have to keep our vigilance
BEFORE it is too late to do something.
Lets be PEACEFULLY firm but clear and avoid all irritants,
that also works both ways.
Life is short, lets not make it shorter...
Paco López08-Sep-2010 05:05
...of course I agree with this!! Excellent image and excellent words, V!!!!
Cindi Smith08-Sep-2010 04:36
I have to totally agree with you, Claudia. Well said!
David Buzzeo08-Sep-2010 04:08
Claudia:

I applaud you for tackling such a politically sensitive topic as this.
While I agree with your idea that good people everywhere should take action, I am unable to attribute this situation to one cause. In my view, this is a complex problem with immigration and fanaticism only being part of the mix.

History and nature is full of examples of where a new group or species has taken over from the incumbent. What the theory of evolution tells us is that it is not the survival of the strongest but the perpetuation of those that can adapt. If our western civilization is going to survive, it must adapt. To that end, we must look at all the factors. May I suggest that some of the other contributing factors might be: the accumulation of wealth in the hands of a few, exploitation of people as a source of cheap labour, the pillaging of the resources of one region for the benefit of another, a corporate and financial system that is inherently corrupt, and an attitude of entitlement by an increasingly less productive western population. There are undoubtedly many more factors; these are just the ones that come easily to mind.

If we fight, I am certain we are doomed. If we try to adapt by changing our behaviour so that we address the root causes of these social issues, we might survive. Which brings us back to your point, now is the time for good people everywhere to take action. Let us just take action on all fronts not just the knee jerk reactions advocated by politicians.

David
