I knew...
This was goodbye... (already few years ago)
Mother passed away, few weeks after this image.
It was actually the last time she was lucid...and we shared
the most beautiful sunset from her depressing hospital room,
she was able to appreciate from my camera, the beauty of the colours
otherwise impossible from her position in bed with the building blocking the view...
(monthly challenge: lines / lines of time, lifeline, endless link)
Plastic can be recycled not life...
Small details MAKE the difference.
You know when you buy packs of bottles
they often come with these "plastic collars" since quite a while
and i saw once, years ago, a bird caught with this thing
around its body...
Since that day,
I said to myself i would make sure
i would never become a contributor to this crime to nature.
Even if i send my plastic to be recycled
I always "cut" the little circles or any other trap* in a way
that can represent less danger to any animal.
I am not sure where the truck for recycling
goes, is it always recycled or just spread
in an open dumping field...sometimes?
To me, this is a "primary" gesture to cut
those plastic rings.
Every little gesture counts
do not understimate your own contribution...
(weekly informal challenge: Primary)
(*for the picture...the "cutting" was not completely done with ;)
I found this "today" on the net:

Une image vaut milles mots...
Please -- stop polluting the world (air-water-ground)
We have the ability to "create" this - we have the ability to PREVENT and AVOID this...
M. Stephen Harper! Jean Charest!

Laurent....
Experimenting with my camera
So, this image was taken by...Laurent
while i was driving.
And of course...this time
the hand is NOT mine!
lol
You are nobody....until someone cares
The hands of a homeless person...
Can you feel his intensity?
I did...by just watching for a moment in silence.
Those hands were helping somebody else,
aussi mal foutu que lui...
It truly moved me.
Here is the award...
I want to offer
to each of You
for the wonderful images
you allow me to enjoy
weeks after weeks, years after years,
from your way of seeing and living
life
and for the chance you gave me
to learn and get inspired by your contributions and passion.
Because of You,
PBase feels like a family and is a wonderful place to be
because what we share is more than just images...
Merci Pbase friends
Please, take it personally
and accept my humble award of appreciation and friendship to You.
Time flies when you have fun...
Merci Scott and Walter
À bientôt still but...differently.
Claudia xx
It is a privilege to count you among my "PBase" friends(family).
---THE END---
Mmmmmm
I like the shape
and how it fits between my fingers.
01 octobre - Field flowers in my hand...
-while driving-
Because it is the nature of "me"
to be sensitive.
I do things
because
i want to do them.
Living life...
is what i love to do.
I write my own book
one page at a time...
There are still few
little flowers, waiting in fields
away from the daily routine
hoping to be seen, chosen and picked up
so they can bring smiles
and joy to somebody
should they feel
blue...or not.
Flowers
are not meant
to be forgotten
in fields...
Contact...
Ce lien ineffable...
Entre la mère et l'enfant.
I took this picture in a park.
It was a radiant and proud mother with her little girl in a swing.
I love the bigger picture** but, what moved me the most was that
little detail, this contact between the smiling mother and the
smiling, happy and confident child.
A little girl cute like a blooming rose.
