Ceci n'est pas un coeur...
- Digression sur une pomme de terre -
Elle est tombée par hasard
Comme arrivée de nulle part
Elle m’a fracassé la tête
Et je me suis senti tout bête.
Je n’ai pas pu léviter
C’est la théorie de la gravité
Elle m’a regardé elle m’a dit
Moi je suis la Pomme de Cœur
Si tu veux un peu de douceur
Alors je t’annonce la couleur
Dans ma tête tout est chamboulé
J’en ai été retourné
Elle me poursuit jour et nuit
Pas un moment de répit.
C’est grave, vite mais sans thé au riz,
Je veux croquer, ô malheur
Cette damnée Pomme de Cœur
Je veux passer bien des heures
Avec cette satanée Pomme de cœur

Chain of Hearts // By Laryl
Laryl is a grand mother (already)
I am sure she has a heart big like the planet.
Recently, Laryl made this chain of hearts
to hang in her granddaughter's room and she was kind enough
to share this with all of us too.
The idea of an image of love hanging in the corner
of a bedroom's child makes me warm inside.
The chain of hearts is just that,
shared instants of love...
And Laryl...
this is a brilliant way to
illustrate the chain of hearts ;)
"Memories are sewn together with heartstrings"
Tatting is the creating of handmade lace
by looping and knotting thread with a small shuttle
to make decorative pieces such lace edgings,
table covers and pretty collars.
Made by my Mom, this tatted heart
is a fine example
of her beautiful talent, patience and love.

Nellie....cette nuit
Since yesterday (February 10th)
Mother has finally a room in the hospital!
After 4 long days in the hallway of ER...
I am disgusted by the way they treat old people here.
Our (provincial) government is only oriented towards rich people...
Federal is not at all better!
Nellie says Hi....
I can never resist, when it is the "first" snow
to make my heart on the rearview window of Nellie.
A small tradition between me and Nellie.
That happened Saturday morning, when the sky was still
dark, had to go to work, so, another ONE DAY week-end.
Difficult to really rest under those conditions.
Perhaps eventually i will not have to slave on Saturdays like this.
I so wish for better in a near future...

D'accord, il faut peut-être se tenir sur la tête,
à la Cirque du Soleil mais bon...
Je crois qu'il faut voir au-delà de l'image.
Une image qui reflète aussi l'esprit de la galerie.
Je vois dans ce coeur que nous possédons "tous",
caché derrière notre visage,
je vois donc dans cette image la base des oeuvres d'un artiste sculpteur
qui veut rendre ses oeuvres fidèles à la réalité,
car il prends le temps d'étudier l'anatomie,
je vois dans cette image
peut-être l'outil d'apprentissage d'un chirurgien maxilo-facial...
Ce coeur fait partie de nous tous
et j'avais oublié que j'avais un coeur...
aussi dans le visage :).
Mais grâce à Jean
et à son épouse
qui ont fait la photo pour la galerie "ce matin"...
je me souviendrai
quand je serai triste
et je sourirai...
J'ai un coeur...au coeur du visage!
