For reasons that I don’t know, the number seven always had some kind of fascination for me. I never really felt the need to explore any further the depth this could or could not have.

Today, it is 07.07.2007. I could not have it nicer I think. Where the number seven is concerned, of course.

I wanted at first to go take images of this day and create a gallery to also celebrate the day where the 7 new wonders of the universe would be declared, the day where Live Earth is celebrated around the globe but, in that spirit, just for the principle, I decided to “recycle” some of the images I already made.

And I thought, which ones and how to choose!?

We are all, well, a lot of us anyway, trying to find that “delicate balance” in life. The one that offers the most satisfaction and makes us feel safe and happy.

Things beyond our understanding are happening in the world and we can “feel” it but we are not sure exactly what it is. The most we can say is that in some cases it “feels good and positive” and in other “it feels very bad and negative”.

I, of course, always try to be part of the solution and try to go where the most positive energy can flow…

Some measures have to be drastic but I find it is with the regular, small and subtle steps that we can really do something that will last and have the most positive impact.

So, today, with respect to the Live Earth movement, which touched me above and beyond some stereotypes and clichés, I want to celebrate beauty with my little field flower that most of the time is considered as bad weed on the grass of people…

This will be my “delicate” contribution to mark this day of July 7th, 2007.

One person at a time, one gesture at a time, one desire at a time to become a better human being is all we can do and we can all do it.
