We left Murren for our special trip to see Karl Baer in Menzingen, Switzerland. I had first seen some of Karl's pictures back in 1999 I think it was, we had purchased our first digical camcorder with the capabilities of taking 1mg digital images, in searching around to learn more I ran across some pictures that Karl had posted and we started corresponding by e-mail and have stayed in touch all this time, through out the years Karl was always helpful in photographic problems and made such beautiful pictures, especially of his wonderful town Menzingen, and his panorama's were unbelieveable. I credit Karl with getting me started in the "Digital World" of photography and not a day goes by that I haven't thought how wonderful a gift this has been. When we arrived in Luzern, the weather was anything but pleasant, but it couldn't wipe the big smile I had on my face, this was a dream come true for me and after so many false starts it was finally being realized.
