This morning we got up and started towards Gruy'ere to tour the old town and see the Castle. We stopped off at the Cemetery in Vevey and saw the grave of Charlie Chaplin first, and then went up to Mount Pelerin, and then on to Gruyere. Much of the Castle and town are from the 15th Century

Charlie Chaplin was a long time resident of Corsier,a village above Vevey and is buried in the town's local cemetery. Charlie moved to there in 1952 .

Entering the Village of Gruyeres, it is a 12th Century Walled city whose claim to fame is Gruyeres Cheese and the Castle.
