Karl showed us around the Old part of Zug this morning before we headed back to Vevey. The weather was beautiful, the scenery was beautiful, it made leaving all the more sad. We had such a wonderful time seeing all of the places Karl photographs, we all joked about seeing it on his webpage if our shots didn't turn out well. It was such a pleasure to finally get to spend some time with Karl and Ester, they made us feel like we were a member of their family that had come to visit, what a wonderful experience we had after all the years of wanting to do it. Hopefully, we can get back there soon for some more great company and great food, amist such wonderful scenery. It was a sad good bye at the train station, Karen and I were kind of weepy at having to leave such a wonderful time behind, but new adventures were waiting for us down the track
Carlos and Milchen met us at the train station in Vevey and we drove to Montreux to buy Karen an authentic "Cow Bell", she found a collector's bell, and needless to say she was excited.
When we returned to the chalet Chef started cooking and Milchen took Karen and I to the Oron to the Castle. Later that night while sitting out in the backyard the Savory Alps and Mount Blanc we being displayed by the Sunset. The Savory Alps were approx. 30 km away, and Mount Blanc was almost 75 km away.
