This is the donor site (my thigh/hip) that was used for the flap back side. It has a clear dressing on it. Today it is sore and pussy.
I knew that this area would be the donor site prior to surgery. But I did not know the site would remain discolored forever. Otherwise I would have opted for another area. Something to think about if you were to have this done.
