Stage One Post Op 3 DaysPost Op Profile Left

Trying to be positive. It is a challenge to look in the mirror and see this on your face. You really need to be prepared and have faith.
The skin (flap portion) on my nose is looking better today. Not purple as much. Color looks like a good match as does the texture and pore size.
I am careful not to bend over, lift, raise my blood pressure, stress as these things could dislocate the flap. The flap contains an artery to supply blood flow to the nose. Without the artery the flap would die and turn black. This is not what I want to happen.

I am sorry to appear ignorant, but in looking for information regarding Mohs and BSC/nose I came across your site. I have been educated about the removal of the BSC but I cannot figure out what the "trunk-like" feature is in your photographs. Is it some kind of graft or is it part of your nose - it is very hard to figure out without an explanation. Did you have the BSC in your forehead also? I am very sorry if I missed this information in your narrative - but I am finding this very hard to understand.
