First trip to the restroom after surgery on my own. I am not ready for what I see in the mirror. My hands shake, my eyes do not focus, my head throbs and my ear feels as if it has been ripped off my head. Still, not looking to bad for what I have been through. Spent the night vomiting with pain meds not working. My cousin Jodi and my husband were so kind to help me through this time.
Being about 5'2" the blue gown drags on the floor as I stand. Not to mention it is missing the back tie-lucky to have a private room right now.
The medications have also left me with hives again. I have so many allergies it is hard to find pain meds I can take. So I have red hives head to toe, blue gown with built in a/c and these cute blue socks to match! Can't wait to sleep in my own clothes and bed.
