Deer Me!

I'm crying over this picture; it could have been such a great portrait
if my hands would have quit shaking (some days are like that and today was one
for the books); still, it is interesting, and I had to share it for the illusion, a beautiful moment; the colors of nature in the evening light are unmatched for mystery.

I know the shaking hands thing but truly , Carol, this is a lovely image. It's an impressionistic portrait that probably captures more of the deer's essential spirit than a sharp, crisp, in-focus shot could ever do. I love it!

It's like an abstract painting, very nice colors and wonderful framing by the trees. It is disappointing though to get an opportunity like this and not be able to get what you want.

Life is like this...you think you are going to get one thing and you get a totally different - and so often - better one. So glad that you shared this with us...it is very artistic!

I was looking through the PAD postings and noticed this thumbnail and thought, "What an intriguing image," and clicked on it and now I discover it didn't turn out as you had wished. Often, I think, the results we get are better than the results we had hoped for.I think this is just fascinating and I'm so glad you posted it!
