Why'd the Turkeys Cross the Road?

While I was driving along this Clifty Park road,
turkeys kept crossing in front of me,
two and three at a time.
This photo combines two pictures,
the road and one turkey;
of course you can see that.

I have been trying to get a close up shot of the wild turkeys here for over a year, but they are too smart and fast and I am too slow. I am truly jealous of this shot, but voted anyway!

I thought that turkey looked rather massive next to the road until I read that it is actually two images combined. Makes sense to me now.
