My thought in the posing for this was to capture with a 'view from above' the self feeling 'down,' sad, or despondent; the subsequent reflection in my glasses, although not intentional, caused me to think of the 'pathos,' often portrayed by professional 'clown-fools' of history who portrayed in one face and body both comedy and tragedy at the same time, illuminating the human condition.
