There is also a dark comedy (book)
Called, “Brown Bread” telling of a family
That seems to get away with murder; and a song,
“Break Thou the Bread of Life.”

Some would see a miracle in the picture of the
Potato—I cut open a baking potato and found
The two brown crosses inside.

“ Break Thou the Bread of Life,
  Dear Lord, to me,
As Thou didst break the loaves
  Beside the sea;
Beyond the sacred page
  I seek Thee, Lord;
My spirit pants for Thee,
  O Living Word”

*This composition reflects on both bread
And the potato being a staff of life.
