This is Sir Spanky, a dear friend's cat-companion.

(Dry Brush Filter)

How Spanky came to be
Sir Spanky, Esquire

Kitty cat, kitty cat, where have you been?
"I've been to London to see the queen."
Kitty cat, kitty cat, what did you do there?
"I gave her my magical feline stare."
Kitty cat, kitty cat, what did she do then?
"She knighted me and invited me to come back again."

The latter poem is fiction, aptly written by Sir Spanky's new owner,
Elaine Parker Akin

The truth is when Elaine lost her beloved Cat, Boswell,
She had determined not to have another feline.
A group of friends felt they knew better and
Bestowed upon her this beautiful, affectionate
Maine Coon already named Spanky.
Others said, he's far too handsome to be called
"Spanky." "He must be called Sir," and the new
Name stuck.

Sir Spanky reminds me of my sorely missed Ollie. He's gorgeous, and how did he get that quirky name, I wonder!
