Several years ago a friend named Janet brought a bunch of her sweet smelling yellow roses for
each of the tables at our Church's Retreat for Women. I was amazed by the aroma of her
yellow roses and at that retreat stopped by a table every chance I could to
inhale some of the natural perfume. Early today I was hoping to
post a picture of a yellow rose to stand in for the ones grown by Janet.
She is renowned for her roses of all kinds.

Then this evening at work, to my great surprise, one of the employees walked up to me with
this yellow rose (in photo) that smelled like the ones Janet grew. This employee, Alisha,
had previously planted them in one of the courtyards at the hospital and
just happened to pick one today.
What a blessing for me!
So now I have two memories to cherish of sweet smelling yellow roses.
