Remember making whistles with a blade of grass between the thumbs
and wax paper and a comb? Fun!
(Of course, this is not grass since it is the dead of winter;
I used a blade of Chives for the pictures here.)

Now I'm on my way to the ER for stitches; nearly cut off my index finger tonight ~ hunting and pecking here to type this!!! UGH!

This is a cool shot. I hope your finger is all right now. \/

Lovely shot! Hope your finger is ok. Remind me to tell you the story of when I once nearly chopped off my finger. I was a hit with the student nurses who got to witness how tendons worked inside a splayed open hand/finger. But that's a story for another day. Sending healing thoughts your way!

I never used the waxed paper! But I did play music with a blade of grass.

I remember the comb and the paper... can't say grass ever came into it tho! Don't get blood in the keyboard now ;-) Hope all turned out well.... :)

I remember paper like this with a comb and saw people making music from it. Great image, and hope your finger is better.
