Yes, it's me -- CJ "Scruff" Morgan.
And no, it's not a photo manipulation.

Julie's sister Janet was in town visiting us for the
last few days, and this was a pencil sketch she made.

This picture sort of threw me off for a moment when I first
saw it because I've become so use to looking at photographs
every day, that I think I forget it's not the only medium by
which to render images. So when I saw it, it was sort of
strange and impressive at the same time.

In any event, I'm going to leave this pencil sketch (thanks
Janet) here as my place marker for the next little while,
as I head up north in the hopes that the back country roads
will afford me some opportunities of "good light" (however
we want to define that term).

And hopefully (assuming that the car holds out and that the gods
are gentle with me), I'll be back in a few (or a number) of
days with some photos, or snapshots, or whatever the
heck it is we do with our cameras.
