JUNE 1

The Shuffle Demons are the wild riding jazz group who started off 20 years ago playing down
at the corner of Yonge & Dundas in Toronto. Since then, they've transversed North American
no less than 15 times, playing to crowds of up to 50,000 in size. Fitting that on their 20th
anniversary The Suffle Demons would find themselves back at that Yonge & Dundas corner,
not only making streetmusic, but also getting 930 other sax players to join in to break a
*Guinness World Record*. Here the boys really get back to their roots -- getting right down
and mixing it up with us common folk.

Sax is my preferd jazz instrument. The full bodied sound of a Selmer Mark 6 or a series 3 or 4 is something the fills your heart. Somme big players like Stan Getz, Ike Quebec, Dexter Gordon, John Coltrane and Stan Turrentine are among those who play this instruments like noone else. Enjoy the Jazz, CJ

I love good sax, CJ. Was it good for you?

I like how you got in close--makes viewer feel part of the action.

This one is really dramatic CJ. I like the tight crop and the looming sax in the foreground. I've never heard of this group, but they sound interesting.

CJ - neat photo - the B/W you posted the other day was great too, for different reasons ... this one really kicks! I like the colour here ... and you just get the sense that there is a lot of energy happening! Nice composition - great catch!

I think I remember these guys hangin' out in front of Eatons! Cool!
Nicely done!
