For a parent, it's distressing when we see our children in pain. We try to protect
them from life's disappointments, but there is only so much we can do. And then we
just have to sit back, empathize with their anguish, console them for their hurt,
comfort them in their lose, and pray that life's lessons get learned. And so it
shall be for son Alex..... when the Leafs lose the play-offs. :-)
