On the reverse of the postcard is the postmark: EDMONTON, ALTA OCT 1 7-PM 1918
The text of the message is: "Dear Florence: Mother put your beads in the basket, thinking they were mine. I'll send them to you. Alma"
The postcard is addressed to: Miss F. Anderson, Rockdale Tower, Ontario (my grandmother)
Rockdale Tower refers to a substantial survey landmark that was built of native rock on my great grandfather Anderson's farm by the Canadian government. It was a well known local landmark.
