I made this simple, yet elegant, chain maille bracelet from silver-plated 16 guage wire, then added a centerpiece I made from two entertwining copper ovals. One oval has been textured with a hammer and the other oval is highly polished to give it lots of interest and definition.

The bracelet measures 7 in long, the centerpiece is 1 1/4 inches by 1 inches. It's very lightweight and easy to wear. I also made the clasp, which is easy to connect and remove. Finally, I patinaed the chain and covered the copper ovals with jeweler's enamel to help protect against tarnishing. CJ198_DSC0492.jpg
