09Feb06 Glass Teapot - 10054

Photo a Day, Day 316...Diversion from the toys a bit... I've shot this teapot once before but have always wanted to work more with it. It was beautifully sunny and bright out this morning so sat it on the deck rail. Unfortunately, it was also 19 out... so the photo shoot of the teapot was a mere 3 shots, before I'm frozen, my tea's getting cold - back in the house!

Interesting shot - the condensation does a good job of conveying the coldness.

I love the shape of your teapot, & I like anything glass. This is almost & SP too so I think you've manage a lot in one shot...including giving yourself frostbite. :>)

I'm totally agree with the others. Great reflections and love the water drops and the beautyful light and the little sparkling on the top of the pot.

Great job with the detail here. The moisture inside the teapot is wonderful. Also like the tones created by the sunlight through the tea. Now go warm up!

Now I'm humming that tune.....I''m a little teapot short and stout...... :)
Great and the twinkle of light on the top knob is the icing on the cake!

Oh yes
what an interesting image in an unnatural setting
lots of reflection to enjoy and try to figure out.
the shape of the tea pot is quite different especially with the expansive handle
why aren't you waving in the SP?
I like this a lot and here is my vote.

Very cool and creative SP, CJ. I like a little lemon and sweet-n-low in mine ;-)

Hi CJ! That's a GREAT deck--can smell the steaks sizzling all summer long :)
And you're giving a new meaning to Ice Tea, lol.
Great shot with the condensation on the lid, which is cool in itself, showing upside down reflections.
