04July05 Bowl of Cherries

Connecticut

Photo a Day, Day 97...Bowl of cherries we picked off of our cherry tree this morning.
Process: Photographed the cherries in the crystal bowl on a white board. Cut the bowl and cherries out using path tool. 4 copies of the cut out bowl w/cherries. One large version (set to multiply) over the background (rectangular red gradient). White rectangular shape w/stroke & outer glow. Smaller bowl w/cherries set to multiply. Another copy of just the shadow part of the bowl which is on the red background set to multiply. Final copy of the part of the bowl extending on the top set to normal.

I love how this turned out, but am totally at a loss as to how you got there.

Ummmm, you lost me on step 2 : )
But regardless I love the shot and the effect you obtained. The shine on those cherries and sparkles in the bowl and shadows is terrific.
