Photo a Day, Day 60... Went on a hike today around Bluff Point and tested out the 100-400 lens a bit more. I really liked the focus on this and the background effect. Had to look up the bird in an Audubon book. Apparently he is of the Blackbird family. Alternate is a panoramic I took below... at least one of them.. will put more up later..

You have learned the secret of this lens! It has such sweet bokeh : ) This is a nice shot and now your looking up the names of birds too, LOL! I use an old Birds of Eastern USA book with color drawings, but I think I'm getting the Audubon book for my b'day.
