The church/mission is in the form of a long hall rather than a cross. There are no pews - the people stood or knelt during the services. Lining the walls are four side alters where people could lite candles and say prayers to the statues of the saints in the niches above - many of these wooden carved saints are currently housed in the National Park's Museum.
