My Soulmate

This is my soulmate, an Arabian mare, Khnights Wyndsong. Wyndi was sold this spring of 2012. She will have a forever home having a mule and goats as companions and serving a a family trail horse.

We enjoy the trails of East Bay Regional Parks, Mt. Diablo & WC Open Space. She has assisted me in getting many wildlife shots & wildflowers while still mounted!

It is sad to hear you sold your horse. That must have been a very difficult thing to do...but it is good she has a forever home. Long term commitments like the 30 year lifespan of a horse are hard to do as we get older and things that we have no control over force change. I fret that some day I may be forced to part with my beloved horses too. Ann

Lovely gallery, My soul mate was killed when I was 16 so her foal became our family soulmate, trained 3 generations of our family. Will never forget running up the mountians bareback everyday after school with my dog by our side, me and my horse. A lovely family type American Saddlebred.
