Aster family (Asteraceae)

The daisy plant is a member of the Aster family (Asteraceae), which has in total over 20,000 different species. A huge family of plants that is thought to be composed of 10% of all the plants on earth. Other members of the Aster family don’t have much in common: artichokes, lettuces, sunflower & endives.
