Well done on the selective focusing on this interesting plant, Carol.
Stands out well against the purplish red background. ~V~

I've never had an obedient plant. So yours is something very amazing to behold. If it's this pretty AFTER it loses its bloom...then the blooming plant must be gorgeous! Love the fuschia background, and the soft focus. Very lovely capture, Carol. V~

What an elegant mix of colors! I can't figure how you have chosen your point of view to have repeated parts in focus like that, but that definitely adds to the image.

Nice tight shot with somewhat shallow DOF but it works anyway. The repeating shapes and colours are a treat. V

Beautiful shot Carol. Love the angle this was taken at and the background colour really enhances it.

Beautiful image. The colors are perfect and reflect so much mood. The DOF and composition are the crowning touches.

My Obedient Plant is never this Obedient:-) what lovely softness and great depth of field. The gentle curves of these leaves and soft foreground colors are so pleasing to eye....the leaves seems to be reaching out to lead you in to its gentle arms.

They look like a nursery of little cradles
with sleeping blossoms in them.
Awwww!
