Thanks Char, my guess is that it was to hold prisoners. Really enjoyed seeing Fort Louis...they had a great vantage point. What a view from up there.

For some reason this makes me think of Christ's tomb even though that's a gate and not a stone in front of it, but it's a wonderful picture. Was this somebody's tomb?
