We enjoyed a lovely BBQ prepared for us by some Hualapai Indian Tribe. The picnic table in the distance is where we sat near the edge of the Mesa.
They are such beautiful people and I was fortunate enough to have a very long conversation with and elder. He and I walked as he told me stories and fears of the young forgetting their language and traditions,
due to the fact they go away to school. Then he bent down, picked up a rock and drew native pictures on it. I've kept this in a place of honour next to my indoor zen garden.
