Sparrow with malformed beak

*it looks like a liver problem or a calcium deficiency.
Providing these birds with some softer food
like suet, allows them to eat easier.

That's an excellent shot. I don't think I've ever seen a bird with a beak like that, but I had one once that was minus an upper beak. It was to sad, I wondered if it had lost it's beak in one of those wire suet cages. I have one but I don't trust them.
