South Lake Tahoe vacation 2012

At the end of October we drove up 395, stopping in Bishop overnight, stopping for a few hours in Bodie (a mining ghost town) and then onto South Lake Tahoe for a week. There was still snow on the mountains from a few days ago, and snow on the sides of the road. We drove around Lake Tahoe and into Nevada. On Halloween we and our friends drove to Virginia City, NV, where we dressed in mourning costumes, did a photo shoot in the cemetery, went on a ghost tour, and were invited to lead the Halloween Goblin parade that evening.
