In 2011 I came up with the idea of creating a timeline of mourning dress silhouettes as a fashion show dating from 1810-1910. I proposed the idea to the director of the Riverside Dickens Festival(CA)for the fashion show in 2013, and was accepted. Over a year I contacted friends who were interested in joining in and each picked a decade they wanted to make the dress for, and did some research on the particular time period. After it was presented at Dickens, it was widely applauded. Six months later I proposed it as a class/fashion show at Costume College (L.A. costume convention) and again it came out successfully. This album is a collection of photos gathered from friends (thank you!) from both Dickens & Costume College.
