SOUTH OF THE BORDER, North Carolina

For anyone who has driven south towards Florida in the past 40 years, you may have seen some of these billboards. I thought I would take you down 'memory highway' and share some of the shots I took earlier this month (mostly from a moving car). After much begging, cajoling and promises of wine later, I convinced everyone that they should stop and experience a 'gem' of Americana. If you don't want to look at all the photos, at least check out the last one - my favourite!

At but I missed even more signs, "sadly." LOL. It is now checked off on my "bucket list" even though I never knew it was on it. Only in America!
