2012 Baltic Cruise - Peterhof, Russia

Peterhof was laid out by Peter The Great (circa 1723). It consists of over 1000 hectares, 30 buildings and over 100 statues. We only saw a 'small' portion of this stunning property but were impressed by it's grandeur, in particular, the Great Palace and the Grand Cascade which empties out into the Baltic.

It was absolutely stunning and I have left out a great deal. I had no idea that this was going to be as spectacular as it was. Again, not too crowded as our guide was wonderful.
