We toured the Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River at Page, AZ. This shot was taken from the dam itself, looking at the canyon and downriver. The bridge connects AZ and Utah.

Glen Canyon Dam construction began in 1956. The dam began blocking the flow of the Colorado river in 1963 and was dedicated in 1966.

The Glen Canyon Dam bridge is 1271 ft long and about 700 feet over the Colorado River. The bridge was completed in 1964.
