I watched this finch tear apart a dried thistle from last season. He ate thistle seeds till he was pigged-out! You can see thistle fuzz is still clinging to him from his orgy.

Beautiful capture, Cindy. I love the composition or your image, this thin tree, the vivid yellow of this bird and the mild background.
