My red-head in evening light

I call these finches "my redheads". They sing the most beautiful songs outside of my door. This one was sitting on a weed in the field behind my house. A white house in the background along with the setting sun provided the unusual background.

This is beautiful and it is unusual to have the bird isolated on a white background. Very lovely and effective.

This is a great shot. I voted. I think there might be a tish too much blank space above his head and it might be worth experimenting with cropping a little from top and bottom.--Rene
