Cindy - I've looked at the Crags shot and one word - WONDERFUL. My wife and I drive by these about twice every 18 months. We have stopped ONCE to take some shots (film) but nothing as SWEET as these! One question - weren't you worried about falling while you were wondering around on these rugged rocks?

This image is simply amazing. I love the way my eyes are led into the image on the slight incline where they are imediately drawn to the light delicately painting the mountainside. The mountains seem to pierce the dark sky like a neon sign illuminates the night. From there my eyes take a breathtaking dip much like the thrill of a roller coaster after reaching the peak of the first summit, only to be drawn to the tree on the right side of the frame. The rich dark blacks and the crisp whites make this image spectacular. This may very well be one of the best if not the best image I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. You are a true artist and have a fantastic eye for composition and ability to capture the essence of natural light. Voted and well deserved. Thanks for sharing this fleeting moment of time with the rest of us.
