Well, we finally made it through to our annual fall vacation in search of the beautiful autumn colors and crisp morning air.We managed to crawl out of bed at the break of dawn (probably even a little before) and set out for Cades Cove - that magical place where Rich and I began this wonderful adventure that is the rest of our lives. Before we could get to Cades Cove, we spotted the elk grazing peacefully in the meadows by the Visitors Center. We stopped to capture a few of the first shots of the vacation.
