We had spent the entire day wandering through the old barns and houses and the light was fading fast. Time to pack it in for the day and get back home for dinner and rest up for the next day. This is a wonderful glimpse into another era - when time was measured by the sun and moon and not by the clock on the wall. Going to work meant going outside and climbing on the plow or hitching up the mules rather than driving through gridlock and exhaust fumes.
