The wagon on the left is a Zuraw wagon and according to the brochure is the only documented wagon known to have traveled to Oklahoma in the Trail of Tears. The wagon on the right is called a Judd Nelson wagon. Judd Nelson was one of the last blacksmiths that had the skills to build a wagon beginning to end. As part of the Foxfire learning experiences, Mr. Nelson built this wagon in order to have the students capture the entire process to forever document a dying tradition. The experience takes an entire chapter of the 9th volume.
